Who Am I?
I’m Steven Myers, the broker at Lake Weir Realty Inc., located right on the water at beautiful Lake Weir — just two miles from The Villages, Florida.
My focus is simple: I help seniors buy and sell homes within 15 miles of my office, an area that includes the northern Villages communities, Lake Weir waterfront homes, Belleview, and the southern edge of Ocala. If you know the Walmart on Hwy 441… that’s basically our “radius marker.”
And because service should feel personal — not rushed — I usually work with only one customer per day.
Why I LOVE this area!
I moved to Lake Weir 33 years ago when I bought an Instant-Equity fixer-upper on the lake. I’ve watched this whole area transform—from the very first square being built in The Villages 31 years ago to the incredible 55+ communities we see today.
Over the decades, I’ve purchased and renovated multiple “Instant-Equity” homes, built my own home on Lake Weir, and own a dozen rental properties in the local area. In short:
I don’t just sell real estate here. I live it, invest in it, and believe in it.
I became a real estate agent 24 years ago, and I still love it — maybe more now than ever.

As a seasoned broker in my 70s, I’ve seen this market grow, change, mature, and reinvent itself. I’ve bought Value-Add properties for over 50 years, long before flipping even had its own HGTV show. I’ve owned homes in multiple 55+ communities, including one in The Villages right now.

And yes… I still prefer waterfront. I admit it. Lake Weir has my heart, but I also love being next door to the Villages to get many of those benefits as well.
